He just gets better and better with each installment. The two things I did love within this installment was Raisa’s character development and the increase in interaction between our two main characters, Han and Raisa. Han His character development, determination, loyalty I’ve given up on this review because I just want to go back to reading the last book in this series. And oh yes, there was a scene where Raisa complains that there aren’t more women in her council.
I will say that all of the characters, major and minor, are well fleshed-out and fully formed. This series explains many of the reasons why I like fantasy, especially when it’s done right. Not much Dancer this time but more Cat. And some of the hell Raisa gave to some people is just magnificent! Apr 27, Anne rated it it was amazing Shelves: First I have to confess I’ve been procrastinating this series because A the books are just getting huger, and B I don’t want it to end!!
This book felt much more action packed than the previous two – without the slowwww first half. Raisa’s grandma is driving me mad, the radical stands of the tribes and wizards insight me to unspeakable violence, and budding love is in the air I know she got shot after, but she was wearing armor so it turned out okay.

I just want to hug it. She is worried about Han and Amon. Also whoever Nightwalker is, he needs to go die too because he’s pissing me off.
My passionate yearning for this book and my bleeding love for the story has made it so I cannot possibly find any wrongs in it. I adore Amon and Dancer and Cat. I guess we’ll never know dolf I have yet to figure out how to wi,liams this. This really should’ve been a trilogy.
