This Sanskrit textbook comes in a relatively large format. Egenes knows how to make egeens intelligible in a concise, readable way, and does not overwhelm the student with too much information at the time.
It has the grammatical complexities of Latin and Greek, amplified to a greater degree. To anyone attempting to learn Sanskrit on his own without background in classical languages I can highly recommend Egenes.

The text is very good. Van Haven, The Netherlands. Compared to many other cryptic egrnes arrogant textbooks on Sanskrit, this is certainly an unusually un-cryptic and un-arrogant one. The second volume of this book did not have any bottom margin and in fact parts of the last lines are cut off.
